Agreement
These terms apply to your use of aegisdentalrcm.com (the “site”), run by Aegis Dental RCM (“Aegis,” “we,” “us”). By using the site, you agree to them. If you use the site for a dental practice, you confirm you can accept these terms for it. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
What the site is for
The site describes our dental insurance billing services for dental practices in the United States. It isn’t meant for patients. Nothing on it is legal, tax, compliance, financial or clinical advice.
No patient information
Don’t submit protected health information or any other patient information through the site, the form, the scheduling page or email. We accept patient information only under a signed Business Associate Agreement, inside secure systems. If patient information reaches us through the site by mistake, we’ll delete it and tell you.
No client relationship until we both sign
Reading the site, requesting a Revenue Scorecard or booking a call doesn’t create a client relationship or any obligation for you or for us. We provide services only under a written agreement signed by both sides, together with a Business Associate Agreement. If the site and a signed agreement differ, the signed agreement controls.
Prices and service descriptions
Prices on the site are in U.S. dollars, per location, per month unless stated otherwise, and plus applicable taxes. They’re estimates based on the volumes described, and we may change them. Your price, scope, service levels and terms, including any rate lock, are the ones in your signed agreement. We work to keep the site accurate, but it may contain errors, and we may correct them at any time.
The free Revenue Scorecard
The Revenue Scorecard is a free estimate built from practice totals you report. It isn’t an audit, a legal or financial opinion, or a promise of what you’ll collect. Benchmarks and dollar figures are approximations. We complete a limited number each month and may decline requests that aren’t a fit. The scorecard and plan you receive are yours to keep and use.
No guarantee of results
We don’t promise any collection rate, recovery amount or other financial result. Service levels are set out only in a signed agreement.
Acceptable use
Please don’t misuse the site. For example, don’t use it for anything unlawful; don’t try to get into parts of the site, our systems or our accounts that aren’t public; don’t interfere with its security or operation, including by sending malware or automated traffic that overloads it; and don’t submit false information or someone else’s information without permission.
Our content and trademarks
The site’s text, design, logo and the name “Aegis Dental RCM” belong to Aegis or its licensors. You may view and share the site’s pages to evaluate our services. Please don’t copy or reuse its content for other commercial purposes without our written permission. Other product names on the site, such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft and Open Dental, belong to their owners; their mention doesn’t mean they’re affiliated with or endorse us.
Other companies’ services and links
Our scheduling page is run by another company, HubSpot, and the calls it books use Google Meet. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we aren’t responsible for them.
Disclaimer
TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Limitation of liability
TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, AEGIS WON’T BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ABOUT THE SITE IS LIMITED TO $100. This section doesn’t apply to services under a signed agreement, which has its own terms.
Indemnity
If you misuse the site or break these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs, including legal fees, that we incur as a result.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the site belongs in the state or federal courts in Dallas County, Texas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new “last updated” date. Using the site after that means you accept the new version.
